Expected score jump after chapter 13 removal?
My current scores are in the high 600's with my highest a 695. My chapter 13 is supposed to remove off my credit the end of October. My question is, how much is my score expected to jump once that happens? I'm hoping it jumps somewhat higher since it's been holding me back for the past 7 years. I have credit cards with zero balances, and an auto lease and student loan but that's it.

Re: Expected score jump after chapter 13 removal?
Have you tried EE with Transunion to get it removed with them, then next month July, request EE with Experian, leave it alone with Equifax.

Re: Expected score jump after chapter 13 removal?
@Rinny418, here is the thread I created when my Chapter 13 fell off my reports:
Chapter 13:
- Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
- Filed: 26-Feb-2015
- MoC: 01-Mar-2015
- 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
- Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
- Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
- Closed: 23-Jun-2020
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

@myscoresucks2 No I haven't, what is EE? It can be removed early? That would be great! Why leave Equifax?

Re: Expected score jump after chapter 13 removal?
@Horseshoez Ok thank you. I took a look I commented on your thread asking if you burned any your cards in chapter 13 that you currently have. I seen your score jumped a lot! That what I'm hoping for.

With transunion you can dispute to old and ask for early exclusion,if you are within 6 months of fall off date, Experian you can dispute or call in and for early exclusion if you are within 3 months. I have heard not to request from Equifax because they mess things up.

@myscoresucks2 Oh ok I haven't heard of this but I'll definitely look into it. I don't want anything messed up since I'm so close. Did you do this?

I haven't with BK, but I have with charge offs, collections. There are several posts from people who have gotten their BKs removed early.

I opted to let my Chapter 13 fall off organically; I was in no hurry as I already had more than enough credit and was not planning on applying for anything, credit card, vehicle, or mortgage, for at least a year after my scheduled drop off date. Since my bankruptcy fell off I've applied for 5 credit cards (denied only by AMEX), a vehicle loan where I got 2.49%, and just a few weeks ago, a mortgage.

Re: Expected score jump after chapter 13 removal?
Congratulations on the house! That will be my next big goal, but not looking probably for another year at least. Im thinking letting it fall off naturally too as I really don't have too much time left. I was really just curious of how much it jumps once removed and it seems like a good amount, something to look toward to.
