Latest on Wyatt Sicks Following Debut on Raw

A new stable honoring the late Bray Wyatt made an impactful debut in the main event segment of Monday night's episode of WWE Raw.

Led by Wyatt's brother, Bo Dallas, playing the role of Uncle Howdy, The Wyatt Sicks wreaked havoc backstage by attacking several wrestlers and staff members, making for a gruesome scene.

Before The Wyatt Sicks officially debuted, PWInsider.com (h/t Andrew Ravens of EWrestlingNews.com) reported that Nikki Cross, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis and the returning Erick Rowan would be joining Dallas in the group.

While WWE hasn't identified the Wyatt Sicks members yet, it was fairly easy to confirm that the rumored members were indeed present Monday.

Adding to the intrigue is the fact that the members each represented a puppet from Wyatt's Firefly Funhouse with Cross as Sister Abigail, Rowan as Ramblin' Rabbit, Gacy as Huskus The Pig and Lumis as Mercy The Buzzard:

After Raw went off the air, both Cross and Gacy confirmed their involvement in The Wyatt Six:

Jason Baker, who was a close friend of Wyatt, as well as the designer of his Fiend mask, confirmed Monday night that him and his team created the costumes for The Wyatt Sicks as well:

When Wyatt returned to WWE in 2022, he brought Dallas with him as Uncle Howdy, but the storyline never had a chance to truly get off the ground, as health issues forced Wyatt off WWE programming.

Wyatt tragically died in August 2023, but the formation of The Wyatt Sicks is a clear means of carrying on his legacy.

Their debut was among the best initial presentations of a stable or character in WWE history, but the challenge for Triple H and the rest of the creative team moving forward is to ensure they continue to capture the interest of the viewing audience.

WWE Bad Blood Event Reportedly May Return in October

WWE is reportedly considering reviving the Bad Blood premium live event and holding it in October.

According to PWInsider.com (h/t Steve Carrier of Ringside News), the first Bad Blood took place on Oct. 5, 1997, and since Oct. 5, 2024, falls on a Saturday, Bad Blood could potentially take place on that date if the decision is made to bring it back.

PWInsider.com (h/t Carrier) also reported that WWE is looking into the possibility of Bad Blood being held at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The first WWE Bad Blood event was entitled Badd Blood: In Your House, and it played host to one of the most notable moments in company history.

That 1997 pay-per-view was headlined by The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels in the first-ever Hell in a Cell match, and it saw Kane make his debut by attacking The Undertaker.

Bad Blood was brought back as a PPV in 2003 and was also held in 2004, but the event has been dormant ever since.

It is perhaps no coincidence that rumors of the return of Bad Blood coincide with the use of blood on WWE programming being more common under head of creative Triple H.

Former WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon's opposition to using and referencing blood was well documented, but WWE is in the midst of a new era, and the return of Bad Blood would be further proof.

Hardy Boyz Reportedly Working in TNA Without Contracts

Jeff Hardy made his return to TNA at Against All Odds on Friday, but he reportedly isn't an official part of the roster.

According to Fightful Select (h/t Subhojeet Mukherjee of Ringside News), both Jeff and his brother, Matt Hardy, are not contractually tied to TNA despite making appearances for the company.

Matt returned to TNA in April after his AEW contract expired, and around that same time, rumors popped up that Jeff's AEW deal was on the verge of expiring as well.

Per Fightful, Jeff's contract ended on June 14, which was the same day he made his TNA return, although the wheels were already in motion for him to show up in TNA before that.

Despite neither Jeff nor Matt being under a TNA deal, Fightful noted that many in TNA are "optimistic" Jeff will eventually sign a contract.

Jeff previously had a highly successful run in TNA from 2010 to 2017, winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three times.

Meanwhile, Matt had a run in TNA in 2011, followed by a stint from 2014 to 2017 during which he and Jeff worked together often.

The Hardys have both made it clear that they want one last great run as a team before they retire, and while that didn't really happen in AEW, they have a chance to turn things around in TNA.

Jeff and Matt have the type of star power and name recognition that can put more eyes on TNA, and given their history with the promotion, it stands to reason that the legendary team will have plenty of say in how they are utilized.
