Community Calendar: Saddle up for Barnum Spring Fever Days (2024)

Free dental care, 4:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Hosted by the Mission of Mercy Minnesota Dental Foundation. Dental professionals, volunteers and community partners will come together to provide services, including cleanings, fillings, root canals on select teeth, extractions, children’s dentistry, oral hygiene instruction and a limited number of temporary partial dental appliances. First come, first served; no registration required. Guardian must accompany children under 18. Patients will be given a registration and release form to complete and undergo a brief health screening.

Take a Kid Fishing Weekend. Minnesota residents can fish without licenses if they take children 15 or younger fishing June 7-9. Youth 15 and younger do not require fishing licenses at any time of the year, though they must observe all fishing seasons and other regulations.
